We are excited to announce that Central Synagogue has been offered the chance to lead our own free Israel trip for young adults this summer. This trip is part of the URJ KESHER Taglit-Birthright Israel program. The gift of the Taglit-Birthright Israel URJ KESHER Trip is a free 10-day tour of Israel, open to young adults aged 18-26 who have never been on an educational study program or an organized peer group tour of Israel.
The Central Synagogue Birthright trip will be staffed by our clergy and teachers who will supplement the traditional trip itinerary.
The following is a travelogue of our trip. We will be blogging live from Israel. Please check back often for updates, pictures, stories and experiences from the young adults on the trip. For some of the participants, this will be their first visit to Israel.
